Launched in June 2014 at the University of South Carolina, the Southeastern Student Conduct Institute (SSCI) is a regional professional development opportunity for student conduct administrators, housing professionals, student of concern teams, and academy integrity professionals.
SSCI provides a practitioner focused experience for attendees through engaging concurrent sessions, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and creating intentional spaces for meaningful professional networking. Taking place over a two-day period, the institute fosters deep engagement and professional growth, equipping participants with practical tools and connections to enhance their everyday work.
Day 1 | Conduct Training Institute: Developed for individuals seeking to gain a foundational knowledge related to the student conduct profession, the Conduct Training Institute is geared toward graduate students, new professionals, and seasoned practitioners new to the field of student conduct.
Day 2 | One Day Institute: The Institute is a one-day professional development opportunity aimed at providing participants expertise, knowledge, and skills related to the field of student conduct. The day consists of an opening keynote address, a lunchtime panel with professionals discussing critical issues related to student conduct, and concurrent sessions where participants can choose from a variety of presentations and roundtables.
